About NIPER Ahmedabad
The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Ahmedabad (NIPER Ahmedabad) is the result of an initiative by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, Government of India, to broaden the knowledge and research in the field of Pharmaceutical research. A total of six NIPERs were established in six different states of India in 2007. According to National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) by MoE 2021, NIPER Ahmedabad has been ranked at 10th position amongst the Pharma institutes in India. It has also been placed in Band-Performer under the category of Institute of National Importance and Central Universities/ CFTIs (Technical) as per ARIIA- 2021 released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Ahmedabad courses are offered in eight streams at postgraduate and doctoral levels.
